Today, I listened to a fascinating lecture by engineer and acclaimed venture capitalist, John Doerr. As he answered numerous questions from his audience, the one question that resonated with me the most was his list of five factors of difference between average and great ventures. The list was not only insightful but, it also confirmed some of my focus over the past five years and keys to my success as a credit union leader particularly how critical it is to build the right team and execute on strategic and operational plans.
